I just began my 11th year of homeschooling on September 14. I am amazed that I have been doing it this long. LOL. I am also feeling quite blessed that I CAN homeschool my children.
My oldest is in 10th grade. WOW! Highschool!!!! I feel sooooo old. ROFLMBO! And, NOW, I am also homeschooling a kindergartner. Stressful? Yes. Worth it? OOOOH Yeah!!!
We have been having a great school year so far filled with phonetic blends…algebra 2…handwriting…Spanish…snack time and chemistry.
On our first day, my little one and I were getting ready to do our snack time, and my highschooler was like…”I want in on snack time!” LOL Needless to say, snack time is not just for my Kindergartner. LOL!
Anyway, I am looking forward to my little one reading this year and my oldest making cool chemical concoctions!
Oh, and I feel SUPER blessed when I got to hear my little one show off her scientific expertise when she saw a woodpecker the other day on a nature walk and yelled loudly so all can hear excitedly; “Hey, Mommy, THAT’S a PECKER!!!”
